Job Description
We are looking for a BSP & Kernel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Linux kernel and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) framework. They will be responsible for designing and developing board support packages (BSPs) for various hardware platforms and integrating them with the AOSP framework. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and maintaining kernel drivers for custom hardware.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop BSPs for various hardware platforms
• Integrate BSPs with the AOSP framework
• Develop and maintain kernel drivers for custom hardware
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure successful integration of BSPs and kernel drivers
• Write and maintain user and developer documentation for BSPs and kernel drivers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BSPs and kernel drivers
• Work with the ABS team to develop and maintain build scripts for BSPs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong understanding of the Linux kernel and the AOSP framework
• Experience with board bring-up and debugging
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages
• Knowledge of the GNU toolchain and Makefiles
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Bash
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of ABS and build scripts is a plus.
