Linux Developer
Location- Pune
Year of Experience- 7 to 12
Notice period- 0-15 days
Role and Responsibilities:
Developing Small Softwares/Tools for Linux (Ubuntu) for Group Client Team as per their proposed requirement.
Should be able to code/migrate existing old Puppet Modules to newer version of Puppet Modules
Similarly, should be able to code/migrate existing old code from old Ansible Modules to newer version.
Technical Skills:
skills for the development of small software applications under (Ubuntu) Linux
GNU/Linux knowledge mandatory
at least 5 years of development in an open source environment
Unix Shell Know-How
Knowledge in application development under Gnome Desktop Environment
Knowledge in the languages C, Python, Rust, Vala, (Good to Have)
Knowledge in handling development environments, e.g. Gnome Builder
Knowledge in using Git / GitHub version control systemWith pleasure also skills in Ruby are welcome (is used in e.g. for Puppet’s DSL (domain-specific language))
