Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Drive innovation and development of device drivers for various SoCs on Linux and Android platforms.
Lead in developing high-quality, robust, and efficient device drivers that meet the company's standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drivers into the kernel and resolve any compatibility issues.
Develop and maintain tools and test applications to streamline testing processes and ensure seamless bring-up of future chipsets.
Contribute to pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of future chipsets by developing and implementing necessary drivers.
Debug and troubleshoot complex system issues using debugging tools like Lauterbach, Trace tools, Oscilloscope, and Protocol Analysers.
Develop expertise in using JTAG/TRACE debug tools and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3-6 years of experience in C programming and Linux kernel development, preferably with embedded or automotive software experience.
Excellent knowledge of Linux OS concepts, Linux Kernel internals, and RTOS operating system fundamentals.
Strong understanding of processor architecture, embedded systems, microprocessor concepts, and parallel-processing concepts.
Good understanding of multi-threaded programming, scripting languages (Python, Shell scripts), and familiarity with semiconductor industry practices.
