About the company:
Euler Motors, started in 2018, is an OEM working towards electrifying the light commercial vehicle segment. Regarded as one of the fastest growing start up in its space it is backed by some marquee investors including Asia Development Bank, Blume Ventures, Inventus Capital & Jetty ventures etc. With patents across liquid cooled battery pack, skateboard chassis platform, proprietary power electronics components, Euler motors focuses on creating in-house technologies to solve challenging problems for the Indian conditions. We have also invested heavily in Li-ion cell testing hardware that are fundamental in selecting the right make and chemistry of cells that make up our proprietary battery designs, thus enabling them to operate over a wide range of operating conditions. We are planning to build state of the art research facilities in the area of energy storage that will enable the development of next generation electric vehicles in India.
About the Role
You will be responsible for designing and implementing kernel level features for Euler Motors’ InVehicle Infotainment (IVI) System
Skills Required:
• Should have 3 to 5 years of overall experience with Linux Kernel driver development
• Solid understanding of Data Structure & Algorithms, OOP and OS concepts
• Proficient with C/C++ and embedded systems concepts
• Solid knowledge of Linux Kernel internals (process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronisation, IPC, memory allocation, file systems, etc.)
• Experience developing drivers for I2C, SPI, MIPI (CSI/DSI), USB, Ethernet, Audio etc.
• Ability to read schematics/PCB and experience using oscilloscope to drive Board Bring-up for different peripherals
• Experience debugging kernel crashes
• Knowledge of Git
Skills Preferred:
• Experience working on Linux Kernel for Android
• Knowledge of Android framework and experience developing Android HAL
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems
• Experience working on Qualcomm SoCs
• Experience with CAN driver
Day-to-day responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Linux kernel drivers and Linux BSP for Android IVI system
• Board Bring-up of different peripherals like display, touch, camera, CAN, audio etc.
• Optimize performance at kernel level for faster boot times
