Lease Packet Datacenter is having an opening for a Linux System Administrator to work from our Jaipur.
Responsibilities And Duties
Effective technical support experience over the phone/email
Proficient with Linux OS (CentOS 7/ Ubuntu)
Able to install LAMP stack on a server with multi-domain hosting
Hosting control panel knowledge like Plesk, Cpanel, PHPMyAdmin
Linux mail server handling experience (postfix/dovecot/qmail)
WordPress hosting and MySQL database management
Basic knowledge of HTML / PHP coding for troubleshooting.
Understand and manage DNS records types including MX records, A records, etc.
Can read and troubleshoot the system from server logs
Proactive customer support and prioritized issue resolution in a quick and efficient manner
Awareness of best practices for server security and hardening, tuning, patching, and optimization.
Knowledge of KVM virtualization on KVMor any other virtualization platform on Linux OS.
Requirements
Linux Systems Administration (RHCE preferred)
A minimum 2-year experience in Linux system administration is required.
Hosting, Cpanel , DNS management , server monitoring, Linux , Perl , Plesk , server management, server security, rhce , web hosting, whm , red hat certified engineer
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve customer issues.
Web Hosting knowledge with Plesk/Cpanel is expected.
Able to respond to support issues post-regular working hours if required.
Desire to learn and improve Sysadmin and SysOps skills in a fast-paced environment.
