Job Description
Come join the team at the Commerce Liquor Store.
We are looking to hire someone for a set schedule and who is looking for long-term employment, either experienced in the liquor industry or would like to learn more about beer, wine and spirits. No experience necessary, as we will train for the right candidate and provide for growth opportunities. The successful candidate will show an initiative and drive to ensure the success of the store (example helping customers find products, ensuring the shelfs are routinely stocked, etc) and be a team player.
Duties would include, but are not limited to:
Customer Service Duties
Greeting and assisting customers with product selection
Operation of POS / cash register
Eye for detail - keeping store well stocked, clean and faced for customer ease of shopping
General housekeeping duties such as light cleaning, dusting and organization
Theft prevention
Physical Duties:
Receive, check off and put away orders from various vendors (depending on shifts)
Keep backroom and cooler well stocked and organized, rotating stock as needed and organizing product delivered throughout the week
Must be able to lift 30+lbs
Requirements:
Have a valid Serving it Right certificate
Be over the age of 1+ years old
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
40 hours per week
Salary: Starting at $18.50 - $20 (depending on experience) per hour plus tip pooling. If prior liquor store experience, to be negotiated.
Schedule:
4 - 8 hour shift(s)
