Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations & Product Management
Determine appropriate product mix based on customer demand, seasonal trends, and supplier availability.
Set and monitor stock levels to ensure product availability while minimising wastage or overstocking.
Establish and maintain high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.
2. Purchasing, Pricing & Marketing
Formulate and implement effective purchasing and marketing policies to support business growth.
Negotiate with suppliers, manage orders, and monitor delivery performance.
Set retail prices in line with market conditions and business profitability goals.
Plan and execute promotional activities, in-store displays, and advertising campaigns to increase sales.
3. Customer Service & Sales
Sell liquor products and provide customers with advice on product selection, characteristics, and appropriate use.
Ensure all customer interactions follow responsible service of ******* requirements and store policies.
Resolve customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
4. Record-Keeping & Financial Management
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, inventory movements, and financial transactions.
Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies.
Manage store budgets, monitor expenditure, and contribute to financial planning for the establishment.
5. Compliance & Staff Supervision (Optional section, add if needed)
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
Train, supervise, and support staff to maintain a high-performing team environment.
As a manager, you will:
Either have a relevant Diploma or higher qualification or approximately 3 years experience in retail or sales
Must have an LCQ licence and Duty Manager Certificate

Location: Auckland
Wage Rate: $30 - $32 per hour
Hours: Full time position with a minimum 30 per week
