We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to play a pivotal role in our firm, handling complex litigation matters and providing unrivaled service to our diverse clientele. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of our litigation practice, from case inception through discovery, trial, and appeal. This position requires 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, with a strong emphasis on trial practice.

Responsibilities

As a Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
• Actively managing all stages of litigation including pleadings, discovery, pretrial, trial, and appeal.
• Conducting in-depth research and analysis of legal issues and precedents relevant to assigned cases.
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and contracts.
• Representing clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
• Collaborating with legal team members to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Providing legal advice to clients, explaining legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Staying informed about current legislation, case law, legal procedures, and best practices in the field of litigation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on trial practice.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state court procedures, rules of evidence, and trial practice.
• Proven experience in managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
