Provide telephone support and/or receptionist relief as needed

Calendar and follow-up on client deadlines and appointments, ensuring no deadlines are missed

Handle e-filing in both federal and state courts, maintaining compliance with court procedures and timelines

Wonderful opportunity to join a reputable firm and assist as their legal secretary! Firm office is based in Costa Mesa and offers a hybrid schedule (3 times per week in office).

Responsibilities

• Draft legal pleadings and other documents as required

• Make travel arrangements for attorneys as required

• Prepare necessary documents for attorneys including pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda

• Maintain and organize physical and electronic files to ensure easy access and retrieval of information

• Submit expense reimbursements on behalf of assigned attorneys

• Provide telephone support and/or receptionist relief as needed

• Calendar and follow-up on client deadlines and appointments, ensuring no deadlines are missed

Requirements

• Experience in a law firm or legal department, specifically in litigation, is preferred

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
