The Role
• Deliver high quality legal advice and services to Directorates and Corporate Services
• Undertake negotiations and where necessary undertake litigation and advocacy in courts, tribunals, statutory appeals and inquiries
• Participate in project team’s to ensure achievement of the Council’s objectives
• Provide legal and procedural advice to clients to ensure operational decisions are taken in the most beneficial and effective manner
What You’ll Bring
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx
• Ideally have criminal litigation experience
• Be motivated and ambitious towards your legal career
