Job Title: Litigation Solicitor
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Salary: £45-65k+(based on experience)
Experience: 2+ years PQE, with Property Litigation experience
About the Role:
A leading law firm near Newbury, is seeking a talented Litigation Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven solicitor to build on their litigation experience, particularly in the area of Property Litigation, while working for a firm known for delivering high-quality legal services across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a varied caseload of general civil and property litigation matters from inception through to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on property disputes including landlord and tenant issues, lease renewals, boundary disputes, and possession claims
• Draft legal documents, including letters before action, pleadings, and witness statements
• Represent clients in court, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation
• Work closely with the senior legal team to support the ongoing development and growth of the litigation department
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships through effective communication and a client-focused approach
About You:
• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in litigation, ideally with some experience in Property Litigation
• Confident in managing a varied litigation caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and proven ability to represent clients in court
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Organised, with great attention to detail and strong time-management skills
