Job Description
The purpose of this position is to handle critical litigation for the bank, and to devise legal strategies for managing lawsuits both filed by and against the institution To facilitate the early and cost-effective resolution of legal disputes, it will provide solutions to legal and regulatory challenges Responsibilities • Handle all bank-related litigation • Briefing the law firms / senior counsel for the litigations while interacting with them • Update the management on the progress of assigned cases on a regular basis • Coordinating with lawyers in various locations to handle litigation • Providing legal support to the retail banking unit on securitizations, direct assignments, partnerships, and co-lendings Qualifications • Graduated from law school with at least 15 years of work experience in a bank, NBFC, or top tier law firm
