Live Broadcast Video Switcher & Editor – Summer Baseball (2025)

Location: Duncan, BC & Remote | Part-Time | June 1 – August 15

Chris Jaycox Productions is seeking a Live Broadcast Video Switcher & Editor to join our production team for the 2025 summer season, supporting live coverage of the Victoria HarbourCats and Nanaimo NightOwls in the West Coast League. Games air on Rogers TV as well as streaming online.

About the Job:

This is a dual-role position combining live game broadcasting and nightly highlight editing:

Live Broadcast Switching – Based out of our Duncan studio on weekends, you'll manage multiple camera feeds, coordinate with operators, and run graphics and replay playback during games.

Highlight Editing – Roughly 65 highlight packages across the summer. Edits would be completed remotely after games (10 p.m.) or early morning (8–+ a.m.), but must be finalized and posted to social media by 11am.

Who We’re Looking For

A highly committed individual with a love and knowledge for baseball.

Experience with switching software like OBS, TriCaster, or similar. (Full training provided)

Knowledge of Adobe Premiere for highlight editing.

Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

Understanding of YouTube Studio and Facebook backend processes.

Position Details

Weekend availability required (Saturdays & Sundays), June 1st through mid-August (pending playoffs).

Studio switching work takes place in Duncan, BC.

Editing done remotely.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to commit for the entire season.
