Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Live Event Production Manager at Audio Visual Dynamics. The Event Production Manager will be responsible for production management, communication with clients and team members, audio and visual event planning, budgeting, and overseeing event production to ensure successful outcomes for clients. The candidate must be able to travel frequently (typically once or twice a month) and report to the AVD office regularly when not traveling.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years experience in the live-event industry, minimum 5 years experience as a Production Manager
• Strong, working knowledge of latest audio/visual equipment and technology
• Ability to lead large-scale corporate special events and productions from front-end to back-end
• Manage internal AVD crew as well as external freelance or union crews on shows
• Vectorworks and CADS interpretation skills required
• Understand profit margins and be able to manage client budgets effectively
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks / projects at once
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
• Highly motivated and extremely detail oriented
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Follow AVD’s guidelines to ensure high standards of production delivery and success
Salary/Benefits
• The base salary for this position is $80,000 + bonus, commensurate with experience.
