A lovely family in Marylebone, London is looking for a Live-in Nanny to help them in taking care of their precious baby and a toddler. The family are looking for someone energetic, proactive, focused on developmental stages and easygoing. The candidate will also be expected with preparing and cooking meals for the family. This includes creating weekly meal plans and ordering food prior weekend for Waitrose delivery, to ensure the week can be, spent efficiently. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them when they travel every eight or twelve weeks per year. They are also open to hiring Live-out candidates.
Someone who could speak Mandarin or Persian languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday or Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, around 48 to 60 hours per week
Accommodation: Separate flat in the building the family live in - the family do use a room in the flat for an office but this will only be used when the candidate is working.
Duties Include
• develop an activity plan including creating and cooking class schedule and coordinating playdates directly with other nannies for each day
• organise weekly group play at home or in the park
• identify potential excursion opportunities
• two lessons per day e.g. language cards, numbers etc.
• proactively teach foreign language and purchase educational materials including toys, audio and books in native language
• nursery drop-off and pick up as needed
• swimming lessons once or twice per week, in addition to other sporting activities
• planting and maintaining portion of the garden as an ongoing educational activity
• change sheets twice per week
• empty bins daily
• keep nappy and wipes area fully stocked
• wash and iron clothes
• keep cupboard organised daily
• move too small clothes - washed, iron, and folded from cupboard to storage boxes every month
• identify missing clothing, toiletry, medicine, and educational items to be bought and, communicate to parents to buy
• replace toys and organise bookshelf end of the day
