Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling. The LMFT will work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans tailored to their unique needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on behavioral health issues.
Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster a supportive environment for participants.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients.
Engage in home community care as necessary, providing support in clients' natural environments.
Stay informed about special education resources and collaborate with schools when appropriate.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and privacy.
Experience
A valid LMFT license is required
Knowledge of special education systems and resources is a plus.
Familiarity with behavioral health practices and clinical counseling techniques is essential.
Experience in providing individual group counseling and therapy is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and practices.
