Job Description: Job Title- Collateral Processing (CP) Retail Location- Mumbai Role Description Collateral Processing (CP) Retail is the team responsible for processing standard loan collateral within the scope of commissioned data processing, primarily for the Corporate Banking Germany (CBG) division. What we'll offer you As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you'll enjoy • Best in class leave policy • Gender neutral parental leaves • 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) • Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education • Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members • Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents • Accident and Term life Insurance • Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Your key responsibilities • Preparation of loan collateral agreements (transfers of ownership by way of security, cessions, guarantees, pledges, land charges and other collateral) • Custody and administration of loan collateral • Review of loan collateral on the basis of the relevant process specifications in the 4-eyes principle (legal validity, enforceability and CRR conformity incl. legal opinions) • Use of the prescribed IT programmes for collateral processing in Germany • Correspondence with internal and external customers and other contacts (land registry offices, notaries, insurance companies, etc.) • Monitoring compliance with KYC requirements for loan collateral • Registration of data within the scope of regular portfolio reports on loan collateral. Your skills and experience • (Banking) commercial training and/or other training, e.g. legal or notary assistant training • Knowledge of loan collateral processing in corporate banking and the associated processes • Willingness to learn specific legislation and processes for German Corporate Lending, with focus on collateral • German (fluent in written and spoken), knowledge of English • Ability to work in a team.
