Job Description
Summary:
The Lobby Busser is in charge of setting and clearing tables at a dining establishment to provide a clean and tidy environment for the restaurant and lobby guests. Their duties include removing used dishes, resetting silverware, and filling beverages for guests.
Responsibilities:
Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering condiments, and responding to guest needs.
Remove used dishes and utensils from tables.
Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient service.
Monitor and restock essential items such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including floors and restrooms.
Provide assistance with special cleaning tasks and setup/breakdown for events.
Assisting kitchen staff with dishwashing and ensuring a smooth flow of clean dishes to support efficient service.
Effectively communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate table turnover and optimize restaurant operations.
Greet guests and provide water and detailed bread service
Collect outlet linen napkins from laundry, polished silverware, and glassware, and general set-up of the server-side stations.
Responsible for inspecting and stocking supplies in all service stations, including but not limited to silverware, glassware, and dishes.
Attend all required training sessions and be aware of any changes to menus, hotel, and departmental policies and procedures, service standards, as well as business trends and requirements.
To perform all opening, side, and closing duties and ensure all work areas and server stations are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
High school diploma or equivalent required.
