Job Summary: Are you a skilled CDL A Flatbed Driver with proven experience navigating the demanding routes of the NYC metro area? We are seeking a top-tier professional to join our team, based out of our Queens, NY location. Our High-Earning Overtime Package:
• Pay Structure: $28.00 per hour for the first 40 hours; $29.00 per hour for all overtime hours.
• Predictable Weekly Pay: Your hard work pays off with premium overtime.
• (Example: A 60-hour week earns $1,700 | Average weekly pay: $1,410 - $1,700)
• Annual Gross Earnings: $73,000 - $88,000+ before bonuses.
• Excellent Bonus Structure:
• $500 Signing Bonus
• $1,000 in Bi-Annual Safety Bonuses ($500 each period)

A Note on Fair & Compliant Pay (Please Read): Our pay plan is structured for transparency and full compliance. To clarify regarding New York law:
• For interstate drivers who are exempt from federal overtime, New York State law provides its own protection, requiring an overtime premium of at least 1.5 times the applicable state minimum wage.
• With the applicable minimum wage at $16.50/hr, the required overtime rate is $24.75/hr.
• Our overtime rate of $29.00 per hour was specifically chosen to significantly exceed this state-mandated minimum, ensuring you receive fair and reliable compensation for all overtime hours worked.
Job Responsibilities:
• Expertly navigate demanding routes throughout the New York Metro area (including all five boroughs), New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle (10/13-speed manual transmission) in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, reporting any issues promptly.
• Properly secure and protect freight using straps, chains, binders, and tarps as required for flatbed loads (80% of all our freight is Strap & Go).
• Manage a daily schedule of multiple pickups and deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
• Accurately complete and manage all required paperwork using our TMS driver app.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of your assigned vehicle.
Schedule & Equipment:
• Home Every Night: All routes are regional, typically originating from and returning to Queens, NY.
• Weekly Pay: Paid every Friday via direct deposit or paper check.
• Consistent Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday with weekends and holidays off.
• Equipment: Well-maintained 10/13-speed manual transmission trucks are parked at our Queens location.
Qualifications:
• Valid Class A CDL; minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Required: Proven experience navigating the 5 boroughs of New York City and surrounding areas.
• Required: Proven experience with flatbed securement and manual transmissions.
• A clean and safe driving record.
