The Role at a Glance
As the Local Government & Operations Support Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative support. You’ll be the "bridge" between operational delivery and compliance, keeping our regional projects on track and our stakeholders informed. You will support our local government contracts and incoming animal stream partnerships.
What you will do
Financial & Contract Administration
Reporting & Invoicing - Coordinate reporting and provide essential invoicing support for local government contracts, ensuring all supporting documentation and data are accurate and submitted on time.
Compliance & Audits - Maintain meticulous, compliant records and databases. You will be the go-to person for reconciliations, audits, and historical data requests.
Documentation - Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, specifically regarding local government and 84Y activities.
Operational Coordination
Animal Logistics: Support the movement of animals by liaising with councils, shelters, and boarding facilities. You’ll conduct capacity checks with internal teams and coordinate curated incoming animal streams.
Animal Transfer Support: Assist with the coordination of our volunteer drivers, including onboarding support and scheduling to ensure our logistics network stays active.
General Support: Prepare high-quality reports, meeting materials, and presentations. You’ll also provide hands-on assistance to the broader operational teams during peak periods or for backfill in adjacent roles as required.
What you will bring
Previous experience in a similar role that requires strong administration and organisational skills.
High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Recruitment Requirements
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
Valid driver’s licence
