Job Title: Localization Engineer

Work Mode: Rotational Shifts (Night shifts will be remote)
Experience Required: 3+ Years
Education: Degree in a Technical Discipline

We're currently seeking a WOL Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ghansoli and be a key player in our technical support operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage customer integrations, projects, workflows, services, and user support from a technical standpoint.
• Provide consultancy on WordsOnline technical configurations and alignment with offline engineering processes.
• Analyze and resolve issues involving Desktop CAT tools, primarily Trados Studio.
• Define and manage offline engineering processes and filetype settings in Trados Studio.
• Respond promptly to production-related issues and ensure minimal disruption.
• Differentiate between user-related errors and system bugs; escalate accordingly to Tier 3.
• Contribute to knowledge-base development to reduce repetitive support tickets.
• Ensure correct onboarding setup for new customers and projects with quality assurance checks.
• Track and escalate critical issues to the Development team to avoid production delays.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of past tickets for quicker independent resolutions.
• Communicate with users in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring transparency on ticket statuses.
Required Competencies:
• Strong technical expertise in Localization processes, CAT tools, and Translation Management Systems.
• Deep understanding of Trados Studio and filetypesettings.
• Analytical and results-driven with a high level of discipline and perseverance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Background:
• Educational background in a technical field.
• Experience in technical, analytical, and consultative support roles.
• Self-motivated with the ability to proactively address challenges and suggest improvements.
