Fresh and dynamic Locum Veterinarian opportunity in wonderful Dunedin!
Humanimals is a dedicated and busy small animal veterinary practice and an internationally accredited Cat-Friendly Clinic.
We are excited to be looking to welcome a new Locum Vet to join our team in our well-established small animal clinic, in conjunction with working at other fantastic Veterinary Clinics around Dunedin.
This is a GP Vet role in a well-established Small Animal Clinic. Ideally suited to a Vet with a few years’ experience and an interest in Surgery – but of course, we are open to chat to those with less experience or other special interests as well.

St Kilda Veterinary Centre - 611 Anderson Bay Road, St Kilda Dunedin 9013
Pet Doctors - The Gardens - 14 Bank Street, North East Valley, Dunedin 9010
Pay Rate:
Competitive Rates Applicable
This is an ongoing Locum role as we look to recruit a permanent Veterinarian into our team – this means there is also scope to look to go permanent if this is of interest to you.
Ideal Shifts/Hours:
Clinic opening hours are 8:30am – 6pm – exact shifts/hours can be negotiated
Open to Full or Part time Locum – up to 6 days per week available
On call/After-hours rostered once per week
Rotational roster between clinics for weekend shifts

Well-Equipped clinic with lots of toys! - Complete in-house laboratory (IDEXX), Endoscopy, Digital radiography, Extensive and modern dental equipment and Ultrasound.
We are a Silver Certified accredited Cat Friendly Clinic and also hold Low Stress Handling certification

REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for the position you must be able to demonstrate:
A minimum of 2 -3 years PQE as a GP Veterinarian.
Ability to handle a mixed case load of Medical and Surgical would be highly regarded.
