Position overview:
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, driven Logistic & Procurement Specialist, acting as a go to person within Optimas for managing Logistic & Procurement activities.
Main responsibilities:
Managing day to day logistic & Procurement portfolio for wide range of customers, ensuring on time delivery schedule as per demand forecast & urgent support on business need.
• Communicate with customers and other Optimas Departments to fulfill the Optimas targeted Delivery commitment.
• Entering orders, monitoring order status, and expediting parts from Supplier against customer demand.
• Working with sales & Supply chain team to Plan & Schedule warehouse activity.
• Managing local Supply chain and support localization projects to ensure full proof supply chain solution.
• Taking appropriate actions to resolve quality issues related to service and product.
• Identifying localization & resourcing opportunity from existing business and suppliers base that lead it for the profit Margin.
• Resolve Supply chain matters related to invoice and PO issue to ensure accurate input against actual material availability.
• Maintain regular materials status reports to have overview for the management to make right time decision on inventory management & turnover ratio.
• Clearing & Resolving supplier invoices.
• Review how Optimas can add value and help with each account’s purchasing needs.
• Coordinate and lead activities and communication between each account and Optimas business departments to achieve appropriate business solutions, respond to customers’ purchasing needs and coordinate sales.

• Reporting completed within specified time frame with Report accuracy.
• Customer Zero line stoppage
• Warehouse continuous improvement

Skills and Qualifications:
• Experienced role with minimum 6 years experience required.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Adopted to travel schedule across India (60 : 40)
• Exceptional data entry skills (computer, keyboard, mouse)
• Microsoft Excel Advanced skills is essential and Tableau knowledge is highly advantageous
• Good interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
• Highly motivated, high energy, ‘can do’ attitude, competitive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• Detail orientated
