Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Logistics Administrator to join our Interior & Architectural Design client's team in London.
The ideal candidate will assist with programmes for shipping and installations of projects, arranging deliveries, processing paperwork, and managing procurement and sample library operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming for shipping/installation
Organizing logistics of all components to suppliers/warehouse
Monitoring transport costs per project to keep expenses reasonable
Managing warehouse capacity and storage charges
Collating storage invoice costs and allocations to projects
Coordinating item sign-off at the warehouse
Booking and monitoring packing/crating, preparing shipping documents
Liaising with suppliers and shippers to meet customs documentation requirements
Organizing deliveries of items to site to meet the installation programme
Recording receipt of proof of export
Ensuring items are adequately insured in transit
Preparing insurance claims for items damaged in transit and storage
Assisting with stock movements and updates
Supporting the Design team with procurement and FR treatment orders
Requirements:
Self-driven with a positive can-do attitude
Detail-focused with determination to complete tasks
Proficient in Mac operating systems
Working knowledge of MS Office
Benefits:
This office-based role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, +am to 6pm (with a one-hour lunch break), with no weekends required.
