Logistics Assistant
Medacta UK Ltd – Hinckley, Leicestershire
Full-time 40 hrs per week.
Medacta UK Ltd is the UK branch of an International Swiss Orthopaedic Organisation manufacturing and distributing orthopaedic implants to medical industries across the World.
A permanent position has arisen within our small but busy team to employ an ambitious, hardworking individual to assist in the current logistics department. The Logistics Assistant should have first class communication and organisational skills, excellent IT skills, the ability to solve problems using a logical approach, the ability to work to deadlines under pressure and impeccable attention to detail.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will be required to carry out general logistics and warehouse tasks including:
· Receiving incoming stock
· Recording receipt of stock on database
· Processing customer orders
· Booking UK deliveries and international shipments
· Liaison with couriers
· Stock maintenance
· Assistance with stocktakes
