Job Description

. In this role, you will liaise with customers regarding freight consignments, manage bookings, resolve inquiries, and ensure a smooth and efficient service. If you have experience in the transport or logistics industry and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Customer Service & Bookings Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing inbound and outbound freight bookings while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining communication with clients, warehouse teams, and transport managers to align deliveries with operational requirements. Your ability to handle queries, solve problems efficiently, and complete key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Communicate with customers regarding freight bookings, concerns, and inquiries.

✅ Ensure all freight requiring booking slots is scheduled to meet customer timelines.

✅ Maintain open communication across internal teams (customer service, transport, warehouse).

✅ Assist in processing bookings, paperwork, and freight manifests.

✅ Support the resolution of discrepancies related to deliveries.

✅ Ensure compliance with SCT's safety policies and industry regulations.

✅ Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in tracking KPIs.
