Job Description
VetPride Services, Inc. invites applications for the position of Inventory Management Specialist IV.
The selected individual will perform various duties under direct guidance from ASRC Federal Site Management personnel and others as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
This role entails performing KCC validation, segregating, staging, and delivering bench stock material from Central staging to designated depot shops.
The Inventory Management Specialist IV will also be responsible for placing bench stock material into bins or other storage locations as designated by site management.
Visual checks of all assigned bin locations will be conducted daily, with scanning of bins at or below the reorder point listed on the bin label.
Making entries into computer systems via keyboard and scanners, as well as applying bar code labels to bins as required, are additional responsibilities.
Cross-leveling stock from one like bin in a storage location to another to satisfy maintenance requirements is an essential duty.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 3-5 years of customer service experience is required.
Previous experience in customer service, inventory, shipping/receiving, or administration is preferred.
The ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is necessary.
Daily physical demands include lifting a minimum of 40 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
Operating material handling equipment may be required.
Basic literacy skills are essential.
Ongoing requirement to wear OSHA-approved safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety goggles.
