About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve logistics-related problems such as demand forecasting, route optimization, inventory prediction, and shipment delay analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
• Analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured logistics data from systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
• Designing and maintaining dashboards and visualizations to track supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational performance, and model outputs using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Working cross-functionally with logistics, operations, procurement, and IT teams to understand business challenges and translate them into data science solutions.
• Using SQL, Python, R, and big data tools to extract, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Deploying models into production and monitoring their performance to ensure accuracy and reliability over time.
• Contributing to strategic initiatives such as logistics network design, warehouse automation, and sustainability optimization.
• Conducting A/B testing and causal inference to evaluate changes in supply chain processes and logistics strategies.
