Job Description
Develop and manage transport routes, delivery priorities, and freight handling procedures to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, transport companies, and external service providers to maintain seamless logistics workflows.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
Ensure warehouse accuracy and efficiency through workflow optimisation and system-based inventory tracking (e.g., Parcelmate or other WMS/TMS platforms).
Maintain workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant H&S regulations.
Operational Performance & Process Improvement
Monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, cost efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements, automation, or technology solutions to enhance productivity.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes and ensure quality control across all operational stages
