• Vendor Negotiation: Identify and shortlist vendors based on market feedback and contract terms.
• Managing Lead Time: Plan and track shipment schedules to meet transit deadlines.
• Trade Compliance (Documentation): Ensure timely submission of relevant documents for import and export shipments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Attributes:
• Proven experience in managing DG and Non-DG shipments, including knowledge of Customs clearance and Trade Compliance.
• Excellent management-level relationship building skills with vendors, customers, transporters, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
• Cost estimation, budgeting, and logistics cost optimization expertise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Commerce or BE (mandatory).
• PGDM/MBA in SCM/logistics management or International Trade (preferred).
