About the role
The Logistics Operator, Forklift Driver role is a Full-time position, based at Springvale, Victoria. Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor at our manufacturing site, you will be working Monday to Friday on the current shift (10am - 6pm) assisting with the Load/unload vehicles as directed and prepare items for delivery in a same and timely manner
Ideally, the successful candidate will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, hold a forklift licence, have good attendance, and having a strong awareness regarding Health, Safety, and the environment.
The main purpose of this role will be:
Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
Handling and operations of the tile products for interlocking concrete roof tiles and their materials.
Manual lifting of up to 25kg required.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Making battens and pre-makes for next day.
Filling out of transport load plans and understanding the yard picking up tile sheets.
Reading picking slips.
Maintain safe work and Operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Occasionally, you will be required to operate an overhead crane (2T). Training will be provided to operate this machinery.
CSR will provide you with conversion training on one of our Toyota Counterbalance trucks, 2.5 single forklift and 4T double forklift (4 Fork/Twin pack). All forklifts have fully enclosed Air-Conditioned cabs.
