Job Description
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
Process shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms) and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
Collaborate with warehouses, freight carriers, and suppliers to streamline logistics operations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning restocks to meet customer demand.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing updates on order status, shipping details, and product availability.
Resolve customer issues, including delays, returns, or damaged goods, with professionalism and efficiency.
Enter and update order and shipment details in the company’s ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Generate reports on logistics performance (e.g., delivery times, costs) and customer service metrics (e.g., response times, satisfaction rates).
Support the sales team by providing logistics insights and addressing customer-related order questions.
Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or a related field.
Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage shipments and customer needs under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills to address logistics and customer challenges.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and international trade compliance is preferred.
