Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Track shipments in real-time using tools such as GPS.
Assist brokers and brokerage staff with day-to-day responsibilities.
Contact drivers and dispatch by phone to confirm status updates.
Monitor and update events such as arrivals and departures in various operating systems.
Identify delays or route deviations and escalate as needed.
Process shipment updates received from various sources.
Provide proactive shipment status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Respond to inquiries for information from various sources.
Record information in various operating systems.
Troubleshoot as required.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
Must be enrolled in an 8‑month co‑op program and able to join us from May to December 2026.
Currently enrolled in a Commerce, Management or Business Administration degree, your record should reflect balanced achievement in academics and practical experience.
Exceptional customer service skills; embraces the concept of both the internal and external customer.
Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
Strong sales aptitude, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and build value-based relationships.
The ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player.
Results orientation, ownership mindset, solutions outlook, and integrity
Ability to quickly establish working relationships and effectively transition through assignments.
Ability to thrive in a multi-task, deadline orientated, high volume and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn complex programs.
Desire to pursue continuous learning activities is also considered a strong asset.
This position requires full‑time in office availability from May 2026 until December 2026 (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with the potential for flexible part‑time hours during the school year.
