Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Working within our SkyCity loading dock is a team of Logistics Warehouse assistants who support the smooth running of all inwards goods to the business. You'll spend your day processing, inspecting, receiving, storing and distributing all stock received. We're a huge site consisting of over 20 bars & restaurants, three hotels, the casino, the sky tower, convention centre and theatre as well as all the corporate offices so as you can imagine this is no easy task! You'll be carrying out all the daily operations, documenting everything that's received, quality checking all fresh produce and inventory items and stock checking to name just a few daily tasks.
Mōu | About You
Due to the nature of this role, you'll most definitely be reliable and organised and have a friendly demeanour. You'll be an enthusiastic team player and you'll enjoy the fast-paced nature and hold a process-driven approach to tasks. You'll be computer literate and have great communication skills. It would be helpful if you have previous warehouse experience and most importantly, you'll have a passion for delivering fantastic customer service!
The must-have's? Our business operates 24/7 so the ability to work between the hours of 4.30am to 7pm is ideal and also the flexibility to work till 1am during events. You'll also need a full driver's licence (or be able to get one very soon!).

We will be open for applications until the 31st of July by which the team will review all applications and be in touch with candidates they wish to proceed with. If successful, we will do a quick phone interview to cover off some initial questions about your experience and interest in the role. If the manager is keen to proceed to the next stage you will be invited in for a one on one interview with the manager. From there we will guide you from there through next steps.
