We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Machineries & containers to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Duties
Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Load and unload heavy equipment, containers and any other type of machinery as needed
Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, including basic automotive repairs when necessary
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposes.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues
Skills
Minimum 2 years of valid driving experience.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery
Knowledge of freight handling, loading, and unloading procedures
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
