With over 40 years in the business, we focus on safe and reliable transport, primarily operating routes from Ohio and Indiana to the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Upper Midwest.
Compensation Plans:
• Frills Package: Pay base rate using dispatched practical miles plus additional compensation:
• $25 for each additional stop or pickup
• $20 per hour for detention pay (starts after one hour)
• $150 layover pay per night
• $150 holiday pay for designated holidays
• $100 bonus for weekend deliveries
• $150 bonus for optional NYC trips
• No-Frills Package: Higher starting pay with no benefits:
• Starting pay at $0.66 CPM
• Increases every six months for two years
Additional Benefits:
• Health, dental, and life insurance after 30 days
• Short-Term Disability insurance after 30 days
• 401(k) plan with company match
• Per diem of $80 per night on the road
Trucking Perks with Classic Carriers:
• New 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias with amenities
• Family rider policy after 90 days
• Pets allowed in trucks with a deposit
• Streaming TV service option in truck
• Access to driver lounge with shower, laundry facilities, kitchen, and more
Driver Qualifications:
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Minimum of two years of recent, verifiable experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) required
• No major violations in the past five years
• Must meet all DOT regulatory requirements
Job Duties:
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations with reefer units
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections
• Complete all required documentation and logs
• Maintain communication with dispatch
• Provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to all regulations and company policies
