With underground and open pit mining, and an expansion of the processing plant completed, the operational diversity and unique work experience is great for building and uplifting careers. Located in the Western Australia Goldfields, you can choose what suits your priorities. About the role
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of a tight-knit crew that gets the job done right. We’re looking for a hands-on legend who knows their way around a drill rig and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Punching out clean, accurate longhole drill patterns to spec using mechanised rigs—getting it right the first time to keep the cycle moving.
Confidently reads and follows mine plans, drilling to line, gradient, and profile with precision—knows how to line it up and send it down properly
Setting up and sorting out any issues on Longhole Drill rigs—no dramas.
Doing thorough pre-starts and making sure all gear is good to go and safe.
Catching up with the Shift Boss and the previous crew to get the lowdown on the work area.
About you
At least 3 years underground experience, with 12+ months on Epiroc Production Long hole Drills
Someone who takes pride in doing a solid job, every time.
A team player who backs their mates and pulls their weight.
Safety-focused, always ticking the boxes and doing things by the book.
Ready to work a 7:7 roster with 12-hour day and night shifts.
Got a current “C” Class manual driver’s licence.
