We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Long Term Care Aide to join our team at Yorkview Nursing and Rehab. As a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Job Overview:

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and organized individual with excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide personalized care to each resident, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;

Provide emotional support and comfort to residents;

Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility;

Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse;

Participate in inter-disciplinary team meetings to review resident progress;

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent;

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;

Physical stamina to perform job requirements;
