EDUCATION EXCELLENCE SINCE 1852 Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1,500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary, Skyridge Elementary and E.V. Job Summary
Auburn Elementary is looking for a fully credentialed Kindergarten Teacher for the remainder of the year. This can work into a permanent position for the right person. The teacher works under the immediate supervision and direction of the School Principal to plan, implement, and evaluate the instructional activities for groups and individual students for the assigned class and subject areas.

Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with a valid Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the assigned grade and subject area. SDAIE, CLAD, or CTEL authorization for English Learners License AND Other Requirements: Valid TB Test (Within the last 4 years) California DOJ and FBI Fingerprint Clearance following initial job offer
