For our Global Technology Office and in the frame of a multi-year journey to cloud, we are looking for a highly motivated: Looker Developer
As a Looker Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, improving, and maintaining Looker across Landis+Gyr. This includes partnering with business and analytics teams to provide guidance and assistance in creating and streamlining Looker reports and underlying ETL pipelines.
In partnership with multiple stakeholders, you will focus on developing and delivering leading edge data analytics solutions using Google Cloud and Looker, as a member of our engineering practice, you will:
• Partner with product owners, data scientists, business users, and others to understand their needs and come up with an end-to-end solution
• Translate business requirements to actionable data tasks
• Design and develop scalable turn-key ETL pipelines
• Evolve and maintain Looker configuration, assess business needs and enable relevant Looker functionality
• Become a subject matter expert on Looker, both as a development platform and visualization tool
• Be responsible for maintaining security and data access models within Looker
