The Head Teacher, children, staff and Governing Body of St. Andrew’s Primary School are looking for a primary school teacher, who is an exceptional, highly-motivated, innovative, creative practitioner and is committed to children's learning, wellbeing and the raising of standards. We are a vibrant forward thinking school with a highly committed, dedicated and hard-working team who strive towards achieving the highest standards for all our children.


We are seeking excellent practitioners who have:
The ability to inspire children to have a love of learning.
High expectations and a drive to raise standards.
Enthusiasm and a commitment to professional development.
Total dedication to the inclusion of all pupils.
High aspirations for developing pupil participation in the planning process of learning via a practical, hands-on, real life skills based curriculum.
A keen interest in extra-curricular activities.
A clear understanding of skills based curriculum, in particular the Literacy and Numeracy Framework.
The ability to teach Welsh as a second language.
The ability to contribute to the development and improvement of the school as a whole.
Expertise in digital learning.
An understanding of teaching children with English as an additional language.
The ability to develop children to be reflective learners.
A good understanding of both Foundation Phase and a skills based curriculum at Key Stage 2.

The job is initially to be based in a specialist Learning Resource Base mixed age KS2 class this academic year.
