Job Description
• Responsible for properly performing all services required in the hood and pit compartment of customer vehicles and directing activities in the bay area of a GMI.
• Direct vehicle into bay and place fender covers on vehicle
• Check and advise Manager on air filter, breather and PCV status or other items recommended
• Check and test brake fluid
• Check and fill if necessary, clutch fluid, battery electrolyte level, windshield washer fluid, automatic transmission fluid and power steering fluid
• Check and test anti-freeze
• Add / check motor oil
• Perform visual inspection of belts and hoses
• Record information on Service Order Ticket
• Double check own work for accuracy
Other Duties
• Perform general center maintenance and cleaning; mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from site, cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas
• Attend crew meetings as required
• Run errands as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned.
