Lube Technician - Albian Site

Job Purpose
Herc Rentals is looking for a mechanically inclined Lube Technician to join our team at the Albian site on a 7-on/7-off rotation. This is a fly-in fly-out position from Edmonton or Calgary, with camp accommodation provided. The role focuses on routine maintenance, including oil changes and greasing on site equipment such as generators, compressors, light towers, and telehandlers.
What you will do...
Perform oil changes and lube services on various fleet and support equipment
Grease fittings and check fluid levels according to service schedules
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lube truck and tools
Identify and report equipment issues or potential failures
Work independently and safely in an outdoor, remote camp environment

Requirements
Ability to work 6am to 6pm on a 7-on, 7-off rotation
11.5 hours per day paid at straight time
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Clean driver’s abstract will be required
Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and ******* screening

Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude — experience in automotive or heavy equipment an asset
Previous lube/oil service or mechanical work experience preferred
Ability to work independently and follow service routines
Comfortable working long shifts outdoors in various weather conditions
Safety-conscious
Excellent communication
Strong customer service focused attitude
