Gastro Tours Atlanta | Midtown Atlanta
Gastro Tours Atlanta is seeking polished, outgoing, hospitality-driven individuals to lead luxury food and cocktail walking tours in Midtown Atlanta.
This is not a typical tour guide role.
Our guides create premium guest experiences by leading small groups through multiple restaurant stops while delivering exceptional hospitality, storytelling, and seamless coordination with restaurant partners.
You’ll guide guests through curated food experiences while making them feel welcomed, taken care of, and excited about Atlanta’s dining culture.
Duties
• Lead guided walking food tours in Midtown Atlanta
• Host groups of approximately 4–10 guests
• Coordinate with restaurant partners
• Deliver food, beverage, and cultural storytelling experiences
• Manage tour timing and guest flow
• Create memorable guest interactions
• Encourage reviews and repeat business
• Sell private tours and additional bookings
Experience
• Proven experience in public speaking or guiding groups in a hospitality or tourism setting
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills in one or more languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups confidently and professionally
• Effective time management skills to coordinate tour schedules seamlessly
• Experience teaching or explaining culinary concepts clearly and engagingly is preferred
• Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus for connecting with international guests
Compensation
$25/hour
• Guides keep 100% of their tips
• Average tour length: 3 hours
• Earn 5% commission on every tour booking you personally close.
