Job Summary
This leadership role champions the strategic business growth of the Rooms department, focusing on developing and implementing departmental strategies that align with the brand's business vision. As a key member of the property's leadership team, you will work closely with direct reports to drive operational excellence, foster employee engagement, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Rooms team to champion the brand's service vision and develop an operational strategy aligned with the brand's business strategy
• Analyze service issues, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Monitor and manage room rates, specials, and promotions to optimize revenue and occupancy
• Review and audit expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Coach and support operations teams to effectively manage wages, controllable expenses, and occupancy
• Ensure seamless communication with guests, respond to complaints, and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
• 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area, OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major and 2 years of experience
• Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire teams, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth
• Experience in managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling expenses
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving guest satisfaction
