LV MECHANICS / DIESEL MECHANICS / FITTERS- LOCAL/DIDO/FIFO
BDS Mechanical Repairs AUS Pty Ltd is seeking experienced LV Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and Diesel Fitters to join our expanding team. We offer full-time and casual opportunities across local, DIDO, and FIFO roles, with flexible roster options designed to support a positive work–life balance.

We provide comprehensive mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services across both workshop and field operations. With 22 workshops and more than 160 field service units operating throughout Queensland and Western Australia, we service over 600,000 km² - ensuring your operations stay productive wherever they operate.
Your duties will include:
Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – LVs/4x4s, Trucks & Trailers
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Earthmoving and mobile plant experience a bonus
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
The successful candidates will possess the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Valid license
Diagnostic experience
Good communication skills
Strong fault finding skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
