Posting Summary:
The Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology is looking for candidates to provide assistance to the Clinical Psychology MA Program Director, specifically with Academic Advisement for both current and new students as well as Administrative duties.
Job Summary/Basic Function:
MA Program Advisors are current Ph.D. students who assist the program director in several aspects of running our large masters program, Psychology in Education. These include advisement of masters students on topics such as doctoral applications, research projects and career choices; as well as organizing orientation events, social events, guest speaker panels, and others. They also play an administrative role in our Integrative Project vetting process, and in communications to our student body.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Psychology or a related field.
One year of experience
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Disposition and motivation to provide superior service to our students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent graduates on a masters program in Psychology
Current Ph.D. students in Clinical Psychology.
Salary Range:
$32.26-$32.26
