Overview
The Employee Digital Experience team is looking for a Lead, Enterprise Operations to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. Role
macOS Environment Management:
Serve as a subject matter expert for macOS desktop engineering, providing advanced troubleshooting and support for complex issues.
Develop and maintain standard macOS build processes, deployments, and configurations.
Package, test, and deploy applications and software updates across the macOS environment using Jamf.
Implement and manage security policies and compliance standards on macOS devices.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Shell/Bash) to streamline macOS management tasks.
Monitor the health and performance of the macOS environment, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new macOS technologies and tools.
Jamf MDM Administration:
Administer and maintain our Jamf Pro environment, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance.
Develop and implement MDM policies, profiles, and configurations to manage macOS devices effectively.
Manage device enrollment, inventory, and compliance within Jamf.
Troubleshoot issues related to device enrollment, configuration, and application deployment via Jamf.
Develop and maintain Jamf scripts and API integrations to automate tasks and extend functionality.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Jamf features and best practices.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide Tier 3/4 level support for macOS and Jamf-related incidents and service requests.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, documenting solutions and contributing to knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., Security, Networking) to resolve ross-functional issues.
Project and Documentation:
Lead or participate in projects related to macOS and Jamf infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting steps.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the macOS and Jamf management workflows.
Research and recommend new technologies and best practices to enhance the end-user experience and improve efficiency.
Mentor and provide guidance to support teams.
All About You
Intermediate experience in desktop engineering with a strong focus on macOS.
Strong scripting skills for automation and system administration.
Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting Jamf Pro in a corporate environment.
Deep understanding of macOS operating system internals, file systems, and security principles.
Proven ability to package and deploy applications and software updates on macOS using Jamf.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID in a macOS environment.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent documentation skills.
Jamf Certified Tech (JCT) or Jamf Certified Expert (JCE) certification.
Experience with other MDM solutions beyond Jamf.
Experience with macOS zero-touch deployments.
Experience with cloud-based services and integrations.
