Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating/welding fabrication shop, metals shop, using heavy power tools to cut press, drill, basic welding, fabrication, light industrial, industrial, CNC, melt shop, machining, overhead cranes, driving/operating medium to heavy equipment
Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
Ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
Ability to stand throughout the day, climb on/off equipment and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly
Responsibilities
The Machine Operator you will set up and operate machines, work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements and transfer materials to storage areas

The Machine Operator you will set up and operate machines, work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements and transfer materials to storage areas.
Ameron™is a leader in the manufacture of poles for street lighting and traffic control. Our extensive line of Ameron™ brand products can be used in residential areas and commercial developments, including streets, highways, shopping centers and pedestrian pathways. What You’ll Do
• Work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and equipment
