Job Description
Oakville based steel shipping container yard that is looking to expand its current workforce.
We are looking for an experienced heavy duty forklift and telehandler machine operator to manage movements of shipping containers coming in and going out of our facility. Heavy machinery experience would be necessary.
General labour and cutting/fitting tasks to be part of the scope of work as well during times of the day that machine operating is not required.
Year round outdoor and partially covered/heated work area.
General skills also needed for prepping steel containers, cutting, fitting, grinding of steel parts and material. Steady use of powered tools and torches. Heavy lifting at times.
Minor repairs to steel shipping containers with light painting to be done to them afterwards at times as well.
Overall helper for current staff and general yard duties.
Cleaning and maintenance around the yard/work area.
Multiple different potential jobs all within a typical work day.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
